Andrea Smith, CNHP, CAHT, CRHP is a Holistic Health and Soundwork Practitioner trained at the Transformational Arts College in Toronto, Canada. She is also a Certified Aromatherapist and Certified Reflexologist and a member of The Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners.

Currently Andrea Smith has a private practice both for individual sessions and group/retreat settings in Owen Sound, Ontario.

Besides being a Holistic Health and Soundwork Practitioner, Andrea Smith also has a B.F.A. in Music from York University, and a B.A.A. in Radio and Television from Ryerson Polytechnic University.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the science that deals with the fact that we have reflexes in our feet, hands, head and ears that are related and connected to all our glands, internal organs, and body systems. When these reflexes are stimulated energy impulses are sent to these places in the body, helping them work better.

Reflexology is a wonderful therapy for promoting relaxation, relieving stress and tension, improving circulation, unblocking nerve impulses, assisting the body's natural defense against illness, and normalizing and balancing the body's systems.

Aromatherapy

The use of aromatic, botanical essential oils to balance and rejuvenate body, mind and spirit and to alleviate symptoms of illness. Essential Oils are blended and used in a massage technique called lymphatic drainage. Treatments can be both relaxing and rejuvenating, as well as melt away stress and muscle tension.

Reiki

Hands on energy technique thought to be of Tibetan Buddhist origin that was rediscovered in Japan in the 1800's. Reiki is a Japanese word meaning "spiritually guided life force energy". The Reiki practitioner is a clear channel through which universal energy flows. Reiki energy allows us to heal on all levels: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. This is a very gentle and relaxing treatment, no massage is done, some people relax enough to enter a meditative state.

Chakra Balancing

Scanning the 7 main chakras in the body using both dowsing and energy techniques to determine where energy may be stuck, and then working with chakra dialoguing and energy work to create a clearer flow of energy throughout the chakras. Treatments can be both relaxing and rejuvenating, and can be used to promote healing on all levels: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Soundwork

With the use of voice or musical instruments, Soundwork can be used to promote and support healing and wellness, which can include: stress release, pain management, improve coordination, increase self-confidence and stimulate better focus and concentration. Soundwork can be a treatment unto itself, or combined with one of the other listed therapies.
